I was born the first of four children in Farmington, Missouri in April, 1978 to Charlie and Chris Thomure. I have three younger brothers; Chip, Adam and Jake. I was raised in Farmington on a small farm and graduated as a Farmington Knight Class of 1996 with honors in agriculture.
After high school, I worked at different jobs while attending Mineral Area College, including road construction.
I relocated to Springfield, Missouri in 2002 and had my first daughter, Laiken. I lived in this area for approximately 13 years. While I worked in sales full time, I attained my Bachelor of Science degree in 2006 from Missouri State University. I graduated with a double major in Agricultural Communication and General Agriculture.
In 2010, I began working for an attorney in Nixa, Missouri, aiding him in his private practice, primarily focusing on traffic and criminal traffic cases. I also reconnected with my high school crush, Matt Stewart, and we were married a year later in early 2011. At the end of that same year, we welcomed our son, Brigham.
After our son was born, I went to work for a law firm in Springfield as an office manager and legal assistant to five attorneys. I worked in many areas of law including, adoption, bankruptcy, criminal, domestic, estate planning, evictions, personal injury, and wills and trusts. I managed schedules and organized conference rooms for 15 attorneys, ran the traffic division of the firm, answered phones, attended to clients and maintained statuses of the estates in which the firm was trustee for.
In August of 2014, my husband and I re-located our family back to Farmington. A month later, in September, we had our daughter Emilia (Millie) Jane.
In April 2015, I was fortunate enough to be asked to work with Ken Seufert and his amazing staff. Today, I wear many caps in the legal assistant field. I assist Paralegals Cathy Winch and Kathy Klusmeyer in their day to day duties, as well as assist Mr. Seufert directly with preparing cases for trial.
I love my job and the people I work with. I am extremely blessed to be a part of this team!
