Becky (House) Bender -Paralegal Assistant
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the youngest of three children. I grew up on a farm in Bonne Terre, Missouri, just down the road from Paralegal Cathy (Collins) Winch. I graduated from North County High School in 1978.
After graduation, I raised two daughters who are now grown and married with families of their own. I am a proud grandmother of two granddaughters and a grandson that was born this past December.
In the early 90’s, I decided to go back to school and put myself through college. I attended Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Missouri, and received an Associate Degree in Legal Secretarial Science. I was a member of the Mineral Area College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Fraternity.
After graduating from MAC, I have worked in various job industries including accounting, accounts payable, banking, clerical, food service, health services, retail, and sales.
In 2007, while I was working in retail, I was hired to work at the Law Office of Kenneth A. Seufert, P.C. I assist Paralegal Cathy Winch in preparing Chapter 7 Bankruptcies and other duties as needed, including assist clients with credit counseling and debtor education counseling, data entry for bankruptcies, answering and directing phone calls, E-file Notice of Bankruptcy and other documents, generate court letters and pleadings, opening and closing files, correspondence to clients and scheduling appointments. In addition to working at the Law Office of Kenneth A. Seufert full time, I continue to work in retail part time.
